FRIDAYS AT 11PM
Catch the second series of this daring new cult comedy exclusively on Bravo!
Following the lives of three egocentric co-owners of an Irish pub in Philadelphia, this edgy new comedy is a breath of fresh air for the sitcom landscape.
Vain, dishonest, and competitive, Mac (Rob McElhenney), Charlie (Charlie Day) and Dennis (Glenn Howerton) are just your typical best friends. Alongside Dennis' sister Dee (Kaitlin Olson), who works as a bartender at Paddy's, the boys busy themselves with schemes of self-interest, often at the expense of each other. The cockeyed world of these quirky youngsters lampoons every taboo in the book, their precarious views and warped world perspectives covering a huge spread of controversial topics including racism, sexism, abortion, molestation, gun control, underage drinking, slavery and sexual harassment.
Their self-obsessed concerns and evident lack of life experience are made all the more hilarious by unending attempts to boost their sense of self-worth by distorting facts and 'revising' the truth.
In this second series of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, legendary actor Danny DeVito joins the cast as Dennis and Dee's larger-than-life father Frank. Following an acrimonious divorce, Frank plans to donate his wealth to charity - but after a night-out with the gang, decides that a life of apathetic debauchery might be a better idea.
A twenty-something slacker sitcom with bite, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is a sharp and satirical comedy about overcoming the pitfalls of the ego when you think you know it all.
