This series boasts more amazing tales of human endurance than you'll witness in a lifetime. Take Ron Cook, who holds the world record for the fastest motorcycle crash ever survived. The motorcycle champ cheated death twice in as many months while attempting to hit 200mph on two wheels. His list of injuries was as long as his (broken) arm - hardly surprising given his bike turned up over a mile from the crash site.

Tania and Joe Fagan learned the value of insurance the hard way. Hurricane Andrew hit their Miami home at over 200 mph, reducing it to firewood in a matter of seconds. Like true Americans, their thoughts turned to TV. Their home video footage illustrates the awesome power of a hurricane on the rampage - not to mention the value of keeping your camcorder handy for when documentary makers come knocking.
